Most standard boiler replacements are completed within a single day. More complex installations — such as moving the boiler to a new location or converting from a back boiler — may take a day and a half to two days. We'll give you a realistic timeframe when we carry out your survey, so you're never left in the dark.
Absolutely. All of our engineers are fully Gas Safe registered, which is a legal requirement for anyone working on gas appliances in the UK. You can ask to see our Gas Safe ID card at any time — we're proud to carry our credentials. We also hold the relevant qualifications for heat pump installations and all plumbing work we carry out.
Yes. All of our installation work is guaranteed for workmanship, and the boilers and heat pumps we supply come with manufacturer warranties — typically ranging from 2 to 10 years depending on the product. We'll register your warranty for you and walk you through what's covered before we leave.
Our engineers will arrive at the agreed time and introduce themselves before starting any work. We always lay protective covers to keep your home clean, work tidily throughout, and clear everything away when we're done. Before we leave, we'll test everything thoroughly, show you how to operate your new system, and hand over all documentation including your warranty and Gas Safe certificate.
We understand that plumbing problems don't always happen at convenient times. We do our best to accommodate urgent and emergency calls for issues such as burst pipes, severe leaks, or a complete loss of heating and hot water. Call us directly and we'll do everything we can to get to you as quickly as possible.
We recommend having your boiler serviced once a year, ideally before the colder months set in. An annual service keeps your boiler running safely and efficiently, helps extend its lifespan, and is often required to keep your manufacturer warranty valid. It also gives us the chance to spot and fix any small issues before they become costly problems.
Heat pumps can be an excellent low-carbon alternative for many homes, particularly as the UK moves towards greener energy. Whether a heat pump is right for your property depends on factors like insulation levels, your existing heating system, and your energy usage. We're fully qualified to assess your home and provide honest, impartial advice on whether a heat pump would be a worthwhile investment for you — with no pressure to proceed.
